Originally from Ohio, Dr. Nelson earned his undergraduate degree in biology, with a minor in Spanish, before completing his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Cleveland Chiropractic in 2002. During his training, he received the Clinic Excellence Award and the Teacher Assistant Award in Radiology.

Dr. Nelson served as president of the Motion Palpation Club and remains committed to lifelong learning. He has pursued advanced postgraduate training in chiropractic adjusting and rehabilitation techniques.
